Though the rains have been late this year, there may now enough precipitation to precipitate some local mushroom fruitings.  To find out, the FFSC will hold its first local foray this season on Saturday, Nov 18 from 9am to about 12:30pm.  The exact location around the UCSC campus will depend on Calfire prescribed burn activity currently taking place in Marshall fields and in the upper campus area...
