November 2024 General Meeting - Phil Carpenter, "What the First Rain Brings"

? WHEN: 11/20/2024, 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
? WHERE: Clubhouse at Harvey West Park

The evening will start at 6:30 pm for those who would like to socialize, snack on Bob Wynn's fantastic spread and chat with fellow mycophiles before the main meeting. Business and announcements will start at 7:00 pm. After the business part of the meeting, Phil Carpenter will present "What the First Rain Brings," a summary of early season fungi.

Last November's general meeting was canceled when a storm knocked out the power to the clubhouse, so Phil will try again to give his presentation  with an overview of some of our most notable early season mushrooms. We have not had much rain yet, but if you do find some mushrooms feel free to bring them to the meeting to get them identified and for show and tell.
