Field Report - Pi Pi Foray (by )
The mushrooms were out, in small numbers. Few boletes in the campground or in the field. Snow plants and other mycoheterotrophs had started.
We had a great potluck: lots of varied main entrees, good pasta, salads galore, and no shortage of desserts. Folks showed up with dishes in hand for the meal, and no one, I mean no one, left hungry.
