2025 Fall Mushroom Dinner

The Fungus Federation of Santa Cruz invites you to join us for our much-loved Fall Dinner on Saturday, November 8, 2025. This year’s gathering will celebrate the flavors of the Mediterranean, a cuisine rich in fresh vegetables, grains, herbs, and of course—mushrooms!

Date: Saturday, November 8, 2025
Setup: 5:00–6:00 pm
Dinner begins: 6:00 pm

The FFSC Culinary Committee will prepare the main elements of the meal:

  • Polenta topped with a hearty vegan Bolognese sauce
  • Crisp, fresh green salad
  • Candy Cap Tiramisu

We invite members to contribute an appetizer or side dish inspired by the Mediterranean theme. Think olives, roasted vegetables, grains, beans, herbs, and mushrooms—simple, flavorful, and colorful. We ask that you bring a copy of the recipe to share.  Just one - folks can take a photo!

Please remember to consult the Potluck Essentials List to ensure that any foraged fungi used are approved. Fill out a dish tag describing your contribution. You are encouraged to bring your beverage of choice for the evening!

This is a zero-waste event. Please bring your own place setting (plate, silverware, glass & napkin) as well as serving utensils for your dish. Label your serving plate & utensil with your name on tape to ensure it goes home with you!

While we do not charge admission for this event, a donation bucket will be ready to accept contributions to offset rental fees and expenses. $10 per person is suggested. Thanks!
