2024 Wine & Mushroom Fest (by )

The Wine & Mushroom event is back! This matchless co-op gathering with several Santa  Cruz Mountain appellation wineries has been put together by Culinary Minister Bob Wynn and Jeff Emery of Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard/Quinta Cruz. The mushrooming crowd brings finger food hors d’ouvres and desserts. The winemakers bring their best, and we all have a great time!

What to bring:
Each member and guest are should bring an appetizer, hors d’oeuvre, or dessert serving at least ten people. Really! We are also feeding the winemakers and it’ll all disappear in short order. This is an appetizer and dessert extravaganza, with small bites along the lines of tapas. No main courses, soups, etc. Again, think something you can pick up and nibble with fingers or a fork!

The kitchen is small, so bring your food completely prepared  and cooked. We can provide last-minute heating prior to service. For those using wild mushrooms, please check the species list. Purchased mushrooms are fine, and desserts are always appreciated. Labels identifying the fungal ingredient must accompany each dish – no exceptions. And please label your serving plate and utensils; we want them to go home with you!

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WINEGLASS, PLATE, FORK, AND NAPKIN.
You may want to bring a second plate for desserts, as dishwashing facilities are limited.
