I have located a patch of delicious looking chanterelles, however they are growing underneath oleander shrubs. Knowing that all parts of the oleander are very toxic, I am hesitant to harvest and eat them. Can anyone tell me if this is a prudent course of action or do you think the mushrooms should be okay to eat?
