Small wonder many enjoy staying at Bill White's Sports Lodge in Sterling. We are fortunate that Bill organizes a foray for us each summer...
Mushroom ID Series Cancelled - Spring 2014 (by )
Due to the ongoing drought and lack of mushrooms, the FFSC identification class series will not be held this spring. The "Ridiculously Risilient Ridge" of high pressure parked off the California coast has brought the local mushroom season to an effective close. Raindances are encouraged!

Albion II Foray - Cancelled (by )
The Albion II Foray, scheduled for January 31 - February 1, 2014, has been cancelled due to drought conditions in Mendocino County. We are disappointed, to say the least.
