You can now print the mushroom permit application from the CAL FIRE JDSF permit application.  

Please allow around 15 days for mail and processing of the application

Please follow the instructions and remember to:

• include a self-addressed stamped envelope
• all vehicle info, color included and form signed
• use the above application only
• otherwise, your application can be rejected, returned or delayed.

Please be courteous.   They are still allowing collecting and we would like to keep it this way.   We like to suggest that members carry out trash when we see it.   Be good citizens and trustees of the forest.

JDSF maps and other helpful information

If anyone has a PDF maps app on their phone/tablet ( like Avenza ) the JDSF base map is downloadable.

There is no age exemption on the permits; if gathering/carrying mushrooms, individuals must have a permit.
