The evening will start at 6:30 pm for those who would like to socialize, snack on Bob Wynn's fantastic spread and chat with fellow mycophiles before the main meeting. Business and announcements will start at 7:00 pm. After the business part of the meeting, Phil Carpenter will present "What the First Rain Brings," a summary of early season fungi.
Dan Tischler and Katherine Elvin will present on local and long distance forays, mushroom collecting techniques, rules, and ethics. There will be a mushroom show and tell, so please bring in any fungal finds you would like to share or get identified.
Presenters will be Phil Carpenter, FFSC science advisor, Katherine Elvin, minister of long distance forays, and Dan Tischler, minister of local forays.
