2017 Albion II Foray - Friends, food and oh yes...mushrooms

Another Albion season winds down to a close.   Our January event, this was proceeded by enormous amounts or rain and cold weather.  The fungal gods were shining down on us and the sun and warmth were granted to us for our event.   Those of us who were luck enough to brave the flooded roads, landslides and fallen trees were not disappointed.   The weather, the food and the amazing size of the trumpets this were record-breaking.   Zack and I are still arguing who found the largest trumpet.   Mine was already split and cleaned on Friday night so Zack refused to acknowledge it since we could not do a fair comparision.   Trust me it was huge and it's cousins nearby were no pygmies.
