September 2022 General Meeting - Vellany Pierce

Please join us for our September 21st meeting at the Harvey West Scout House. This will be our first general meeting of the season.

The evening will start at 6:30 pm for those who would like to socialize, snack on Bob Wynn's fantastic spread and chat with fellow mycophiles before the main meeting. Bring any fungi you have been lucky enough to find for identification! Business and announcements will start at 7:00 pm. After the business part of the meeting, we will be joined by Vellany Pierce, our speaker for the evening.

Vellany Pierce is a Santa Cruz native and long-time FFSC member. She has served the FFSC in the capacities of Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Media, and has led local forays. Vellany will talk to the group about her journey in the fungiverse from first exposure through to her current work in mushroom cultivation at Far West Fungi.
