The date for “Map and Compass Workshop” is April 3, 2016.  Cancels and reschedules for rain
Times: 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Place: to be determined but will be in Santa Cruz County, most likely Quail Hollow
“An appropriate compass is liquid-filled with magnetic needle, includes a moveable baseplate, at least 2 degree marks on the dial, and can be held for sighting to take an azimuth (bearing)."
 
Open to broader group on March 21st until March 31, 2016. 
 
Please provide the required information in comments for :
  • Age 18 or above (or age 15 to 18 with parent in attendance and responsible for child) 
  • Contact information for:
    1.  How best to reach you (For me to give class site and for notification if class cancels)
    2.  Emergency contact information in the event of accident, illness or injury.
 
Please note, this policy is different than the survival class:
Cancellation policy:  Please commit to the date if you sign up. Convenience or opportunistic cancellations deny others the opportunity to enroll.
You may cancel enrollment up to, but not including March 27th for a refund of $19. 
No refunds for cancellations on or after March 27th, but you may receive credit for a future class. 
No refund or credit for “no shows”,  i.e. if you are absent and don’t contact the instructor prior to the day of the class.
